The Amazing Anamorphosis Artwork of Justin Beever
This is a bit off topic for this blog, I don’t usually post about graphic arts, but for the past couple years I’ve been aware of and amazed by an English street artist by the name of Justin Beever. His stuff sometimes circulates on the email forwards circuits, so some of you may already be hip to him even if not from Jolly Old England or having seen his work in person somewhere. I just received this new batch of art pieces from a friend who is a major fan of Justin’s. Before you scroll down and get your mind blown by this unique talent, here’s the blurb from a website I found featuring his works:

Are you kidding me? They look like 3D, especially the coke bottle. Amazing! I can’t draw. I can’t sing and I can’t play an instrument. Totally not accomplished according to Regency standard.

He’s good. I’ve seen much of his work and it is awesome. There was one forward that showed him as he drew it and how it looked from his point of view. If he was a writer, he would be as twisted as I am.
Absolutely amazing! How does he do that!?! It’s sad that all that talent gets washed away in a good downpour.
That is just amazing! The fountain one really blows me away.
I’ve seen some of his stuff before (online, not in person) and it just blows my mind.
It would kill me to have my creative masterpieces destroyed on a rainy day, though!

Blow away – never saw his stuff before, but WOW! And I’m with some of the others – such a shame they onlly last until the next downpour – he should get permission from the cities to paint them in something more permanent!
Totally awesome, especially the coke bottle. He’s so darned talented, wonder why he does it in such a way that his art disappears. Oh, and thank you so much for your kind comment on my blog, Marvin. It means a lot to me.

Yeah, I’ve gotten some of his work via email before – is it not just simply amazing or WHAT?? I’d REALLY like to see some of his work in person, because my mind just cannot comprehend this!!
And what’s such a shame about this unbelievable talent is – when it rains, it’s GONE! This guy is just incredible.
Sigh, yeah – lotsa peeps including myself pine over the short lived nature of this form of incredible art. Cactus Annie had a great idea, maybe he could get city approval to paint them in epoxy paint?
I saw some of these last year, a friend sent them to me, and again I can only say WOW! this is truly a rare and exceptional talent. But like so many others I’d love to see him do them in a more permanent medium. But then, I guess that’s the nature of street art – the impermanence – maybe he’s a Buddhist? lol

I’ve had some of these pictures emailed to me over the past little while. This man is amazing. The first picture is truly astounding. I can barely draw stick people. Wow.

I can’t believe this. The talent some people have never cease to amaze me….I’m a true believer that we were created in the great Creator’s image! This work justifies my belief.

Great stuff, but this is not all Beever’s work! Kurt Wenner is also featured here, pics 4 and 5 for example…. now there’s a guy who’s in a league of his own.
