Hahahahaaa – love it, perfect! 🙂

Hit that nail right on the head, Old Silly, lol.

  3. Cactus Annie / Jan 9 2010 8:16 am

Yep – sign of the times, for sure. Used to be a new ring, now it’s your fb relationship status, lol. Good one.

  4. John Standish / Jan 9 2010 8:37 am

Too funny and so true dat! 😉

  5. Marcus Franks / Jan 9 2010 9:12 am

Sad state of affairs, but soooooo true!

Very glad my kids are grown. And that I don’t have a Facebook or MySpace account so I can’t see theirs.

That’s a good one, Marvin! My daughter is on facebook but she is happily married and her relationship status hasn’t changed!

  8. L. Diane Wolfe / Jan 9 2010 12:25 pm

And don’t be shocked when you read their posts, either – LOL!

You know, I actually think this is a good thing.

Teens don’t talk much, this is a great way to snoop without seeming pushy.

I can’t believe I’m actually thinking Facebook is a good thing.

    heh heh

Good or bad – ’tis all relative, my dear Quirks, hmm?

Might find more than you were looking for, too.

I’m with lots of the others here … sometimes you get a little TOO much information!

  12. yvonne lewis / Jan 9 2010 1:35 pm

It’s surprising what one can find out on Facebook isn’t it?????????

  13. ReformingGeek / Jan 9 2010 2:55 pm

That’s so true and I like Yvonne’s comment. Unless you work at it, it’s hard to hide on Facebook, especially when friends tag you in photos……

  14. Rayna / Jan 9 2010 11:19 pm

We need to keep this one quiet, or the kids will catch on and knock us off their friend list.

    • theoldsilly / Jan 9 2010 11:20 pm

      LOL, Rayna – Riiiiiight!

      • Rayna / Jan 10 2010 12:28 am

And I am really sorry your comment did not show up on my blog. I have no idea how it happened. Would you believe me if I tell you that I have never deleted a single comment on my blog, and would definitely never delete one of yours.
If I disagree, I will tell you so. If I want to punch you, I will say that too, but delete a comment, never. Freedom of speech was earned by most of us at too high a cost for it to be trivialised now.

    I love it!

My cousin says all of the time that the women who change their status never realize the guy isn’t looking anyway….so it’s in vain.
